Prefect Inauguration 

A day of intense emotions as the newly elected prefects were officially inaugurated by taking an oath to exercise and uphold the schools 5 pillars amongst them and their peers. Congratulations to all the young leaders, may you continue to be the light that helps others see.

Mentorship

It was a blissful day for the gentlemen of EEHS who attended the annual mentor the boys workshop hosted by Michelle brown in partnership with Vodacom.

The boys had the privilege of grasping life changing information from various stakeholders on the areas of safety, finance, social media etiquette, cardinals of good living and a ton of exciting activities facilitated by the Vodacom crew.

Eskom Expo

Reasons to be proud - Congratulations are in order to our grade 11 team who came up top at the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists regional competition by scooping 3 Gold medals 🥇, 1 Silver medal 🥈 and 1 Bronze 🥉.

Chess

study stated that chess effectively teaches patience and concentration to pupils with short attention spans and those with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Chess helps pupils with ADHD to sit still and focus on the game. If they do not focus, they lose, which is a great incentive to stay focused.

STEM Labs

Our Grade 12 science learners had the privilege of conducting a real-time esterification practical at the STEM labs of Nelson Mandela University.

EEHS Alumnus

Special thanks to Nonke Mabizela and Andiswa Jikijela for delivering LED projectors and Retractable White Boards from EEHS's Class of 2003 - 2020 Alumnus.

We cannot deny that EEHS in essence is still and will always be a place of hope and has proudly produced qualitative and competitive professionals in the fields of health, education, arts, commerce etc.

The vision behind their initiative is to further enhance the school to its full capacity by creating a culture and legacy to reach every single child thus inculcating an ongoing relationship with the school.
